Solstice!
It’s official! We will be in the Fremont Solstice Parade on Saturday, June 21st, 2008! Yes, kickball is going to suck up yet another one of your Saturdays, boo hoo, sucks to be you!
The WKL will be marching in this years Solstice Parade. The parade begins at Noon, and we should plan on assembling after 10am. It’s short notice, but we have two skull sessions planned to figure out how to make this work. We are going to get together at the George & Dragon in Fremont at 6:30pm, on Tuesday June 17th. We will also sit down at BF Day at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday June 18th before that nights games.
Anyone who wants in on the planning/coordinating, please try to attend one of the meetings. If you can’t make it, don’t worry, just marching in the Parade on Saturday and having an absolute blast afterwards! The Parade has a beer garden and liquor area at Gasworks (the parade’s end) set up for all the participants. Yes, lots of freaky naked people getting hammered in the sun, and you could be one of them! After that there is always the best street fair in Seattle to be enjoyed! All day and all night! Dance party at Danielle’s! Whoah!
